Diagramming Drills - How To Guide

Below is a walkthrough of the key functionality of our drill diagrammer. Much of the functionality from our legacy diagrammer has carried over to our new version. The new version is also packed with new features and functionality.

Drawing Lines

There are two primary options - Draw Line tool and Freehand tool. The Draw Line tool allows you to click points on the surface to create the line. The Freehand tool allows you to click and drag to make the action line.

Adding Objects to the Surface

To add objects to the surface of the rink, simply click to highlight the object you want to add. Then click on the surface where you want the object to be placed. Continue this process until you have added all the objects you need. Once you're finished, click the object on the left palette to disable the object placement. You can also drag and drop objects from the left-hand pallet directly to the surface.

Adding Text to the Surface

There are two options for adding text to the surface of your diagram. Text area and label. The text area tool is best for larger blocks of text along with sizing and formatting flexibility. Labels are best used for simple surface references - like station labels.

Adding Shapes

Our shape tools allow you to quickly add different shapes to your diagram - including customizable polygons. Use the square icon in the top toolbar to get started. Shapes can be resized and modified by dragging anchor points.
